With a penchant for sourcing prodigious talent and helping them gain a foothold into the scene, Marco Faraone and UNCAGE welcome the up and coming talent of OFF / GRID with his powerful ‘Resistance EP’ to the imprint.
OFF / GRID is a relative newcomer into the world of production however his talent shines through with this being only his third release, with the Hamburg native’s first attracting attention with his self-release non-label EP 'Time To Shine' on his bandcamp page, which was swiftly followed by a release on the Georgian based label ‘Differentsound’. His sound is predominantly one of a blend of stripped back dubby and hypnotic sounds which sit just perfectly for Faraone’s powerful UNCAGE imprint.
This EP consists of 6 straight up weapons for the club environment. Each track has its own unique feel of raw, deep and powerful ever evolving techno sounds which are guaranteed to find their way into many a DJ set this year. This is an EP that shouldn’t be overlooked and showcases excellent emerging talent in the raw, deep and hypnotic techno scene.
